Ever heard of yarn bombing? It has become quite the rage in beautifying some of the common everyday street furniture around our suburbs, particularly in the inner city. Yarn bombing is a form of street art that uses colourful displays of knitted or crocheted wool or other fibres to create beautiful public spaces.
Come along and help yarn bomb the Community House mesh fence, parking sign poles and other street furniture around the Community House at the Market and Swap Party on Thursday 1st November. Help us to get the house looking pretty for the Open Day on Saturday 17 November 2012.
